We are obsessed with building elegant, high-quality APIs and bank integrations, transforming legacy bank and payment infrastructure into state-of-the art products.

Open Payments connects you to multiple banks through one single unified API. This removes the complexity and frictions of many diverse integrations – saving both time and money. In other words, we are the empowering infrastructure behind your solutions. We have the solution for any FinTech, E-commerce, ERP system, subscription payment provider and other types of financial services.
Open Payments was founded in 2017 with the aim of being part of shaping open banking and the way we access and use financial services. Since then we have been developing our easy-to-use, secure and PSD2 compliant platform.
We are a Swedish VC funded start-up and one of the pioneers within PSD2 and what is referred to as Open banking. We provide a groundbreaking platform that gives you access to financial information and services so that you easily, securely and quickly can develop the best possible services for your customers and users – based on PSD2.
We are licensed by Finansinspektionen, Sweden’s financial supervisory authority, and our secure and qualitative platform supports both Account Information and Payment Initiation for both corporate accounts and private accounts.

We are a fun and ambitious team with an office in the center of Stockholm - and are now growing our diverse team to support our expansion across Europe.

Open Payments is a financial infrastructure platform that enables business systems to embed banking functionality directly into their products.
Through one secure API, platforms such as ERP systems can connect to banks and financial infrastructure across Europe and offer services including payments, real-time account data and other banking capabilities — without having to build and maintain individual integrations with every bank.
Banking Power is our approach to bringing banking functionality directly into the business systems where companies already manage their finances.
Instead of switching between an ERP, online banking portals and separate financial tools, users can access banking services directly within their existing business system.
This can include payments, account balances, transaction data, FX and other financial services.
Open Payments is built for business software providers that want to integrate banking and financial services into their products.
This includes:
- ERP platforms
- Accounting software
- Treasury and financial management systems
- Payroll platforms
- Other B2B software providers that need access to banking infrastructure

Building a single bank integration can be straightforward. Maintaining reliable connectivity across many banks, markets and banking standards is significantly more difficult.
Each new bank can introduce different APIs, file formats, security requirements and operational processes. APIs also change over time, while financial regulation continues to evolve.
