We’re continuously fine-tuning and developing our platform so our customers can work smarter and build faster. Here’s the latest lineup of upgrades and improvements.
🇸🇪 Sweden
Lunar joins the Open Payments network
We’re thrilled to welcome Lunar, our first neobank integration in Sweden! This marks a big step beyond traditional banks and gives you access to even more users.
You can now connect Lunar accounts through our API to retrieve account and transaction data. Payments from Lunar accounts are coming soon — stay tuned.
SEPA & international payments for SEB and DNB
We’ve enabled SEPA and bank-facilitated international payments for SEB and DNB users in Sweden, making cross-border transactions even easier to handle.
Batch payments for Handelsbanken corporate users
Corporate customers at Handelsbanken can now create and execute batch payments using our signing basket solution — available for both private and business accounts.
🇳🇴 Norway

Our Norwegian coverage just got a boost — SEB and Danske Bank are now part of the Open Payments network. Their users can connect accounts and initiate payments directly via our API.
SEPA & international payments for SEB and DNB
We’ve also enabled SEPA and international payments for SEB and DNB users in Norway. You can now offer seamless global payment capabilities to your customers.
ISO Payments now live for Handelsbanken Norway

🇩🇰 Denmark
SEB and Danske Bank now available
Good news for your Danish users — SEB and Danske Bank are now part of the Open Payments network. End-users can connect their accounts and make payments as usual.
🇫🇮 Finland
SEPA & international payments for SEB and DNB
We’ve enabled SEPA and international payments for SEB and DNB users in Finland too, so your customers can manage cross-border transactions more easily.
🇳🇱 Netherlands
Improved batch payment visibility for ABN Amro
We’ve upgraded account information for ABN Amro users — now every individual transaction within a signing basket is visible, making reconciliation simpler and more transparent.
Better API documentation
Our docs have been refreshed with the latest features, examples, and client feedback. The goal: make integrating with Open Payments as clear and frictionless as possible.
Fraud protection for supplier payments
We’ve launched fraudulent account screening against Svensk Handel’s watchlist. If a payment is initiated to a flagged account, you’ll get a warning message via our API — adding another layer of protection for your users.
More international watchlists are coming soon.
Smarter dual-signing flows
We’ve fine-tuned how we communicate dual-signing requirements across all banks. Messages now clearly indicate whether the signing should happen in the API or directly in the bank — giving users a smoother experience.
Standardized payment statuses
We’ve continued harmonizing payment status reporting, this month for the Swedish banks. This improvement ensures you receive a consistent set of PSD2 payment statuses across all supported Swedish institutions. The work doesn’t stop here — we’ll continue expanding this harmonization to other markets in the coming months to deliver a more unified and reliable payment experience across our products.
That’s it for this time! As always, we’d love to hear your feedback so let us know what you think or if there’s anything you’d like to see in future updates. Just drop us a line: support@openpayments.io
